Dear Parents/Guardians,
We appreciate your reading this email. This concerns the actions we need of you to help us safeguard the health of all the children in our school.
A. Attachments
Attached to this email are two files:
i) Notes to parents in coping with H1N1 (Set A): This details information relating to the 7-day Leave of Absence (LOA) for students returning from
H1N1 affected countries.
ii)Travel Declaration of Student : Parents need to update information on the travel history of the child.
You may choose to send your response (nil returns are also appreciated) by

- email (please note details below)
For all email responses, please note the following:
a) Keep the subject title as it is (eg 4A H1N1 updates). It will help us in tracking responses by class.
b) Reply to this email to the addresses stated below:

B. Leave of Absence (LOA)
As advised by MOE, we will implement the Leave of Absence (LOA) actions for those who are affected. Our staff will be in contact with you and update you of further details once we receive your response on the travel history of your child.
C. Thermometer
Please remind your child to bring along his/her thermometer every day for temperature check when the school re-opens on Monday.
D. Reminder of absence from school
If your child has travelled to the affected countries (please refer to www.moh.gov.sg for the latest updates) in the last 7 days, we seek your understanding and co-operation in keeping your child at home for observation. If your child exhibits flu-like symptoms (with fever etc), please call 993 for immediate attention.
E. First day of school in Term 3 : 29 June 2009 We appeal to parents not to enter the school premises unless necessary or on official business. All visitors, parents and pupils will be screened at the entrance to the school via the canteen and foyer. We thank you for your co-operation and understanding in ensuring a safe place for your child in the school.
